Fiona Cross

Partner, Tax

Fiona is an accomplished Corporate Tax Partner with over 30 years’ experience in UK and International tax matters. She has a proven track record of advising a diverse range of clients, from dynamic start-ups to large multinational groups, across an extensive number of sectors.

With her qualifications as a Chartered Tax Adviser and Fellow Chartered Accountant, Fiona offers a wealth of knowledge in corporate reorganisations, acquisitions, and disposals. She has extensive experience assisting companies seeking investor funding through initiatives like Seed Enterprise Investment Schemes (SEIS) and Enterprise Investment Schemes (EIS). Additionally, she provides guidance on employee share schemes, including Enterprise Management Incentives (EMI) and Employee Ownership Trusts (EOTs).

Fiona also specialises in international tax, advising foreign companies entering the UK market and UK businesses expanding overseas, including transfer pricing, permanent establishments and withholding taxes.

 

Clare Boden

Partner, Tax

Clare is a commercially focused tax adviser with around 20 years’ experience helping businesses manage tax complexity, reduce risk and support growth. Her career spans in-house tax roles as well as positions within Big Four and top 10 accounting firms, giving her a broad perspective on the challenges businesses face and the practical solutions that deliver value.

She has worked with businesses across a range of sectors, including engineering, manufacturing, construction, real estate and technology, advising on tax compliance, reporting, structuring and strategic transactions. This combination of technical expertise and commercial insight enables her to provide pragmatic advice that aligns tax strategy with wider business objectives.

Clare is passionate about helping businesses navigate an increasingly complex tax landscape with confidence – whether that means strengthening governance, improving efficiency, or identifying opportunities to support sustainable growth.
