How we helped
We have worked closely with Cirque Bijou to develop their understanding of their financial position, by significantly improving internal reporting and providing ongoing training and mentoring to the Finance Manager. Key areas of work have included:
- Development of intuitive, accurate and understandable quarterly management reports
- Migration from cash-based Sage One record-keeping, to accruals accounting on Xero
- Implementation of systems to accurately record the company’s substantial non-cash transactions
- Development of detailed reporting by event to allow producers and directors to keep a close eye on production finances
- Grant certification for Arts Council funding
