As an Associate Director, Stephen specialises in statutory audits, FCA-regulated assignments and complex group reporting. He blends strong technical expertise with a practical, solutions-driven approach, helping clients meet regulatory requirements, strengthen controls and improve the quality of their financial reporting. Stephens core specialisms lie in the financial services, real estate and property, and technology and digital sectors.

With over a decade of experience, Stephen has delivered audits across FCA-regulated firms, private equity-backed groups, large property structures, technology companies, charities and multinational groups. His experience spans complex valuations, consolidations, restructuring and going-concern assessments, as well as FCA limited assurance reporting.

Stephen also leads on innovation through automation and developing custom Copilots that enhance audit efficiency and quality at Gravita. Passionate about the future of audit, Stephen is actively involved in developing our audit teams and shaping Gravita’s approach to technology, methodology and innovation. Stephen also contributes to firm-wide process enhancements, including AML/KYC monitoring and onboarding improvements. He has also built AI-enabled tools that streamline workflows and support better recoverability.
