Team - Luke Metson

Luke is a Partner in our Audit team with nearly 25 years’ experience in practice. He advises international groups, large corporates and owner-managed businesses, supporting them through operational and strategic change while ensuring robust audit, governance and compliance outcomes.

He brings deep technical expertise and strong regulatory insight, supported by his status as a Fellow of both the ICAEW and ACCA. Luke is an ICAEW Licensed Practitioner for ATOL Reporting Accountant purposes, Chair of the DFK UK & Ireland Audit Committee, and a former member of the ICAEW Practitioners Services Committee.

Luke works with clients across a broad range of sectors, including travel, property, retail, construction, gambling, and complex group structures, including international groups. He also has significant experience supporting businesses in regulated and fast-moving environments, tailoring his approach to reflect each client’s commercial and operational realities.

Alongside his audit work, Luke advises on corporate transactions, including due diligence and valuation assignments. He is a member of the Anaerobic Digestion and Bioresources Association (ADBA), reflecting his sector knowledge and interest in renewable energy and sustainability-focused businesses.

Known for his pragmatic and collaborative approach, Luke delivers audits that are proportionate, insightful and aligned with his clients’ wider commercial objectives, building long-term relationships based on trust and clarity.
